Bringing you a little taste of Greece

Hi Reader, I thought I would share a few photos from our trip to Greece (see below). We have been back for just over a week but it already feels so long ago. We had a great time and got to reunite with family - some we have not seen in 28 years. We enjoyed a lot of good company and food. It was a whirlwind of a road trip with many stops along the way from Athens to Thessaloniki.
A lot of food was shared with friends and family - lots of delicious home cooked food and we always made room for a little ice cream too and plenty of frappes and Freddo cappuccinos! My husband's favourite ice cream in Greece was Greek Yogurt & Cherry Ice cream. He had a cone everywhere we happened to find it and let’s just say it was everywhere.
I tried a super refreshing ice cream flavor in Mykonos - It was Myconian cheese, orange and chili. The local cheese was described as similar to ricotta. It was creamy and totally refreshing thanks to the orange plus the chili - which brought a slow kind of heat that added to the refreshing flavor. I'm going to try and recreate it somehow - and if it’s a success I will definitely share the recipe - think grown up orange creamsicle with a hint of heat!
Below are a few recipes from the blog that we enjoyed a lot in Greece. But for more tasty and simple to make Greek recipes check out the blog.
