Monthly Newsletter - September

Hi Reader, hope you are enjoying the remnants of Summer. It’s winding down and I’m not happy about it. I’ll miss these long days as well as evening walks that aren’t chilly.

Some eagle-eyed regulars of the blog might have noticed some little changes (hopefully improvements). For a few weeks now each post has an “add as a preferred source on Google” button at the start. With the advent of AI searches, we don’t know exactly where the information is being pulled from to generate those responses. I don’t know about you, but I’m not ready to have AI decide my food choices (see the glue on pizza story some time ago!). If you would like to include Olive & Mango in those AI search results, this gives you a way to do that if you want.

Also there was a slight change to the featured recipe categories at the top. Instead of one big one, I’ve opted for 3. A little cleaner and more info dense, while trying not to make things too cluttered. Let me know if you have any feed back on this or any other features for the site.

We started testing recipes for Fall all of August so we are so ready to kick off Fall with some really great simple recipes that you guys will love - Sheet-pan, Fall inspired gnocchi, veggies and sausage dish, Fall minestrone, skillet apple cobbler and crisp, apple blondies, pumpkin blondies, some tasty Greek classics like manestra (Greek comfort food) and our take on Greek cabbage roll soup, plus a version with more classic cabbage roll flavours. We are not ready for the change in weather but we are def here for all the Fall flavours! We have so many tasty fall dishes already existing on the blog so feel free to check out the Fall Recipes category on our homepage

It was a whirlwind of a road trip with many stops along the way from Athens to Thessaloniki. A lot of food was shared with friends and family - lots of delicious home cooked...
